The History
In 1952, Abend Plumbing was founded by Carl Abend and his wife, Catherine. Carl had the distinction of being granted the second plumbing license in the state of Maryland.
This company has been family-run ever since, and the reins have switched hands a couple of times over the years. The current owner is Katie Abend, who became owner in 2014. She continues the tradition of providing superior plumbing and HVAC work at reasonable prices.

Our Tribe
Our team understands the importance of hard work and accountability. Training is a huge part of our retention strategy. We make sure that every tribe member has the opportunity to better themselves. This strategy allows them always to give you the best service possible!

We’ve added Residential Services, including HVAC; the company is now called ABEND Services. We operate under two divisions. Our Residential Service Division handles service work in residential settings. The Commercial Division supports clients in industry with everything from remodels to tenant Fit-outs… even new construction. No job is too small or too large for Abend Plumbing!
